Everything that OpenAI and Apple just announced

Apple made several significant announcements across its product line at WWDC 2024. The major highlight, unless you’re an emoji fiend like my mother(!), was the introduction, after over an hour of preamble(!), of ‘Apple Intelligence’ (AI-geddit?), Apple’s new suite of AI-powered features integrated into iOS, macOS, and iPadOS. The new technology includes capabilities for creating original images, text prompts for custom emoji, and enhanced task orchestration. Siri has been updated with more personal, on-screen awareness and a new API for third-party apps, along with the integration of ChatGPT to enhance its functionality. But there’s a lot more going on here…
